The goal is always the same: give engineers faster feedback, safer deploys, and fewer surprises in production.
Earlier in my career I worked in application performance management, starting at Merck/Schering-Plough and continuing at Verizon and PNC — figuring out why systems are slow, and instrumenting them so the answers are easy to find. That foundation still shapes how I think about observability and reliability in anything I ship.
